Detailed music reproduction - that's what coaxial speaker systems stand for. The PRX 170.2 offers all the advantages of this design, in which the tweeter sits on top of the woofer/midrange. This creates a point source that provides a precise, homogeneous sound image. The stiffened and flow-optimized basket design in combination with the powerful drive and the hand-coated 165 mm paper diaphragm allow for a balanced and high-resolution sound image. The integrated 25 mm fabric tweeter, which conjures up a silky smooth and detailed high frequency experience, rounds out the PRX. For use in many factory specified installation locations, suitable for the doors and as a supplement in the rear area (rear fill).

Technology
LOW/MID-RANGE DRIVER - 165 mm outer diameter, 8 screw points, arranged in a circle. Recommended frequency range: 50 Hz - 3000 Hz.
NOMEX-SPIDER - a spider for highest demands and durability. Particularly robust against wear and tear and yet with the necessary flexibility a loudspeaker needs. The mix-fibre fabric was specially developed for loudspeaker construction and offers all the advantages of a modern spider system.
MADE IN GERMANY - We have been developing and testing loudspeakers for over 35 years. Our entire manufacturing and development know-how plays a central role in this.
