Flat and powerful are no longer a contrast - the newly developed RSC series has been equipped with a specially developed membrane technology. The rib-stiffened aramid fiber fleece foam sandwich cone is a genuine high-tech product and extremely complex to manufacture, offering maximum rigidity with minimum weight and ensuring a natural, mature sound character thanks to its special surface texture. It is also particularly flat, making it the ideal choice for space-saving and easy-to-install car audio systems.
The RSC 165 is a 2-way component system consisting of a 165 mm (6.5“) woofer/midrange driver and a 25 mm (1”) aluminum-ceramic tweeter. The new RSC 165 woofer/midrange driver has a torsion-resistant die-cast aluminum basket in the typical ETON double strut design with additional voice coil ventilation. The powerful drive unit contains an extremely strong ferrite magnet between two polished pole and base plates. The latter is equipped with a large core hole to dissipate heat effectively and without flow noise. The heavy-duty 32 mm voice coil drives the new, rib-stiffened aramid fiber fleece foam sandwich cone powerfully and also dissipates heat via the coil neck to the inverted aluminum dustcap on the front. The ideal driver with a sensational installation depth of just 60 mm! Full voices and the finest midrange details are reproduced dynamically and with absolute precision with a transparency and openness rarely heard before. The newly developed 25 mm (1") aluminum-ceramic tweeter is included in the set as an ideal playing partner. The elaborately manufactured, 3-layer composite material dome tweeter has been optimized in its omnidirectional properties and sits in a newly designed drive structure. This is equipped with a coupling volume and is ventilated in several stages. The new tweeter also features the familiar ETON RCFS technology, which eliminates potential reflections in the coupling volume by means of a specially shaped base plate. The tweeters perform at the very highest level and reproduce even the finest details precisely and to the point. Coupled by the new tweeter crossovers with level adjustment, easy to install and extremely efficiency optimized! Our top performer - development and production Made in Germany!
