From the innovative die-cast aluminum basket to the specially developed carbon fiber fleece sandwich cone, these speakers are true masterpieces. The highlight of the Plug & Play mid-range driver is the cone: it consists of fine carbon fibers that are bonded together to form an airy fleece and baked in several layers to form a rigid, particularly lightweight sandwich cone - the basis for uncompromisingly high-performance high-end sound. The anodized aluminium dustcap for optimum heat dissipation and the powerful neodymium magnet with a large core bore and polished, anodized pole plate ensure explosive fine dynamics that are second to none!
The flat neodymium magnet enables plug & play installation even in tight spaces in current vehicle models - without additional adapter rings or plugs, while retaining the original design. The newly developed 28 mm (1 1/8") tweeter with its large voice coil comes in the smart installation dimensions of the 25 mm original tweeter. The silky-smooth sounding fabric dome tweeter has a special hand-applied coating that has an anti-interference effect. The multi-ventilated coupling volume ensures a powerful, contoured and extremely precise tweeter.
